Meeting Jesus
is a life changing experience!
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion is the
most important fact of Christianity. It is THE miracle of all miracles!
Because of this wonderful event, when you acknowledge Christ as Lord &
Saviour, an entirely new life is born out of Him.
My own conversion was nothing like the Apostle Paul's 'blinding light' experience.
In a moment of quiet prayer, I was 'born again' of the Spirit of God. Yesterday
I wasn't able to believe and yet suddenly and mysteriously, all questions
and doubts had been removed from my mind. My daily routine had a sense of
true purpose and the grass outside my home looked more lush and beautiful
than I had ever seen before.
My spiritual eyes had been opened to see the truth of the Word of God and
for the first time, I was able to truly acknowledge my Creator God.
It was a truly joyful day in my life and it gets better all the time.
True Conversion
Results In A Changed Life
The Bible says you have become a Child of God; born from the substance
of God; 'a new creation, the old has passed away and the new has come.'
2 Corinthians 5:17
Your past has nothing to do with your new life in Christ.
'Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a
new thing!' Isaiah 43:18
The Bible also refers to you as the clay in the hands of the Potter.
The good news is this; the refining work of the Holy Spirit is in progress
rebuilding from the ruins so to speak, moulding and shaping you into the
person God wants you to become.
'For those God foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness
of his Son.'
You are a special SOMEBODY - with a divine purpose in life!
God knows everything about you - where and when you were to be born, and
the purpose for which you were born. He has plans for your future.
YOU are chosen
by God to fulfil His purpose!
There is a blueprint for your life and His plan has already begun
'For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.' Ephesians 2:10
Nobody else can do, what God has set aside for you to do!
You are a
Child of God - a first-class citizen of heaven!
He is the very source of your being and you are an heir to all of the
riches of His kingdom. 'He gave this title, to those who believed in His
name.'
You are a
person of worth - precious in His sight!
God loved you - before you loved God. He chose you and you are precious
in His sight. He knows everything: where and when you were to be born,
and the purpose for which you were born. You are not an accident of procreation
but born of God. You are no ugly duckling or a black sheep!
You have
biblical esteem - you have the authority of Jesus!
He has given you everything necessary for life and godliness. All the
promises of God are available to you now, so that you can become the special
person God wants you to be.
You have
the mind of Christ - 'No mind has conceived what God has prepared for
those who love him but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.'
You have that seed of greatness in you - God has already put it there.
Whatever our mind can conceive - it can achieve, in Christ.
Nothing can stop God and you working together, except YOU!
With God
nothing is impossible. Your potential is unlimited. God has a plan for
your future and together you will achieve great things.
