NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD! Why an online prayer group you might ask; but can you imagine the numbers that could become united together in prayer? The internet is a wonderful means of communicating across the globe and the fact that we don't know each other 'in the flesh' is not a hindrance, anonymity can even be a good thing in some circumstances. There are times when each of us needs prayer support and no matter what our circumstances, age, or state of health, we can all become prayer warriors. When Christians pray, work and co-operate together, everything becomes possible! The state of our prayer life reveals whether our walk with the Lord is genuine or superficial. The foundation of our prayer life must be a right relationship with God. He is a Holy God and cannot look upon sin. If there is any unconfessed sin, He will turn his face away and not hear our prayers; Isaiah 59:2. However, the moment we confess our sin He will forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness; 1 John 1:9 This does not give us licence to do what we want, when we want. We must make every effort not to fall into the same situation again. If Christ needed to pray, then how much more we need to pray. Jesus emphasises the importance of prayer in the Sermon on the Mount. John Wesley said; "God doe nothing but by prayer, and everything with it;" Prayer is effective! Prayer changes lives! Prayer changes circumstances! Prayer is essential! Christians must be unrelenting im prayer commitments. God answers prayer. Prayer moves the hand that moves the world! Every movement of the Spirit can be traced to a bent figure. Please take the purpose of the prayer group seriously and don't allow yourselves to become side tracked. Be always on your gurard; the evil will not like what you are doing and will do his utmost to distract your from your purposes.
